Branch Mill Organic Farm & Retreat Center is a fantastic location, just 10 minutes out of Arroyo Grande. Our peaceful, country retreat center is surrounded by native plants and trees with lots of birds, bees & butterflies.
The classroom is a 17 1/2 foot by 22 foot space with a pristine bamboo floor. The center is available for day-long or part-day yoga, meditation, movement, kirtan, similar classes or rented for individual healing sessions. The room has an attached commercially certified kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is small but can be used for cooking classes with drop-cloths & mats to protect the flooring – for more details ask about our kitchen rental policy.
 Max occupancy: 20-25 people seated or 12 yoga mats.
The Studio is generally available to rent outside of regularly scheduled classes or Farm event times between 8:00am to 10:00pm every day of the week.

Kundalini yoga with Mark Davis/Prem Gian

“Sit, dwell in the thoughts and words of the soul, and peel away all your non-reality with the vastness of your spirit.” – Yogi Bhajan

Aquarian Sadhana is a practice to cleanse your mind, uplift your spirit, and set your day (it typically begins at 4:30 a.m, but can also be practiced at later times). It includes Japji (the Sikh morning prayer), a yoga set, and chanting. This same practice is done by Kundalini Yoga communities around the world. It was originally given to us in 1992 by Yogi Bhajan as a way to excel in life and connect through group consciousness. Handouts with Japji and all 7 Aquarian Mantras will be provided. We invite you to join us at 8:00 am on April 20 to connect with your spirit. Donations as for regular classes will be accepted, but are not required ($10-$12).

HATHA YOGA with Nicole Chanley

Tuesday afternoons – 5:30 – 6:45 pm
Only $12 a class! About Gentle Hatha: This yoga class takes the push out of your day, using slow movement and breathing to gently energize muscles and joints. We will then dive into a relaxed series of grounding postures leaving the body stretched and refreshed. Classes will also offer opportunities for deeper breathing exercises and meditation.

YIN YOGA with Jill Landry, PT, certified yoga instructor

Mondays –  5:30 -6:45 pm

$12 per class or $40 if pre-pay for 4 classes. Yin yoga is a nourishing and gentle practice that calms and balances both the mind and body, deeply stretches fascia and connective tissues improving joint mobility, invites a greater flow of chi, and brings balance to the internal organs and body systems. We will incorporate breathwork to support times of both active movement and release, easeful transitions, self-care practices, and the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine to support body, mind, and spirit. This practice offers the opportunity for a deep sense of relaxation and is a great way to begin the week feeling refreshed and renewed.
