Branch Mill Organic Farm & Retreat Center is a fantastic location, just 10 minutes out of Arroyo Grande. Our peaceful, country retreat center is surrounded by native plants and trees with lots of birds, bees & butterflies.
The classroom is a 17 1/2 foot by 22 foot space with a pristine bamboo floor. The center is available for day-long or part-day yoga, meditation, movement, kirtan, similar classes or rented for individual healing sessions. The room has an attached commercially certified kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is small but can be used for cooking classes with drop-cloths & mats to protect the flooring – for more details ask about our kitchen rental policy.
Max occupancy: 20-25 people seated or 12 yoga mats.
The Studio is generally available to rent outside of regularly scheduled classes or Farm event times between 8:00am to 10:00pm every day of the week.

Upcoming Events

Ceremony will begin at 7:15 with potluck at 6:30. The March Full Moon of 2019 is particularly special because it reaches its peak on the same day as the vernal equinox- the first day of spring. The full moon called the Full Worm Moon by Native Americans is on March 20, 2019 at 6:43 pm PST. The last time the full Moon and the spring equinox coincided this closely (4 hours apart) was in March 2000, but the last time they occurred on the same date was on March 20, 1981!

This full Moon is also a supermoon, meaning the Moon will be nearly at its closest to Earth for the month of March. It’s the year’s third (and final) of three straight full supermoons. This means that the Moon may “appear” brighter and bigger than normal, provided the night sky is clear and dark.

We are holding our space for the Equinox and the Full Moon ceremony regardless of the weather.
It’s significant that we hold our ceremony so we can move inside the greenhouse if need be.
Please join us.  Terresena will be leading our lovely spring equinox/ full moon celebration!

Tuesday afternoons – 5:30 – 6:45 pm
Only $12 a class! About Gentle Hatha: This yoga class takes the push out of your day, using slow movement and breathing to gently energize muscles and joints. YIN YOGA with Jill Landry, PT, certified yoga instructor

Mondays –  5:30 -6:45 pm

$12 per class or $40 if pre-pay for 4 classes. Yin yoga is a nourishing and gentle practice that calms and balances both the mind and body, deeply stretches fascia and connective tissues improving joint mobility, invites a greater flow of chi, and brings balance to the internal organs and body systems. We will incorporate breathwork to support times of both active movement and release, easeful transitions, self-care practices, and the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine to support body, mind, and spirit. This practice offers the opportunity for a deep sense of relaxation and is a great way to begin the week feeling refreshed and renewed. This is an all levels class. Please bring a mat and wear comfortable loose clothing. For questions, contact Jill:
