About the instructors

Mark Davis (Prem Gian)

Mark Davis is a certified level 1 teacher in Kundalini yoga (as taught by Yogi Bhajan) and currently studies level 2 at the Awareness Center in Pasadena. “My classes incorporate physical movement, meditation and chanting to help us focus on and explore the untapped creative potential within each of us. Kundalini yoga is specifically based on the belief that there is a well of energy, creativity and love within each of us that is waiting to be activated. Whether one wishes to apply this to a specific creative endeavor or to our living as a whole, who doesn’t want to become more loving, creative and alive?! Together, we can.”  Besides teaching Kundalini yoga classes every Thursday evening at Branch Mill Retreat Center, Mark works as a musician, workshop facilitator and author. Edit Lepine

Edit Lepine is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist & Women’s Hormone Specialist.  She made it her life’s purpose to help women suffering from hormone imbalance and other chronic and autoimmune conditions heal themselves naturally.  As Hippocrates said many moons ago, “Let food be thy medicine, medicine be thy food.” This simple sentence has a particularly deep meaning to her.  Edit was a pharmaceutical sales representative for 11 years. Over the course of her career she became increasingly frustrated by our failing healthcare system, one that focuses on sick care and does so little for prevention through lifestyle and nutrition. Through her own health journey, she personally experienced the healing power of foods, and the innate ability of the body to heal itself.  Naturally, her desire to master the science of nutrition increased day by day, to the point, that she left her pharmaceutical career behind and went back to school to become a Holistic Nutritionist. She has helped many people in the community regain their health, get off medications and create a life free from disease. She sees clients for Nutrition Counseling at her office in Pismo Beach or over Skype. You can learn more about Edit at
